/ Abstract

autoritratto a 12 mani stems from the description of its protagonists immersed in the public sphere. The narrative of the social dimension in which they move attempts to sharply sketch the mimicry, gestures, expressiveness and tendencies of the individuals, outlining the profile of constructed, artefactual and almost caricatured individuals-masks.

The emersion of these details rhythmically marks the development of a dialogue-non-dialogue without subject matter, which aims to describe the cultural connotations with which each character aspires to be perceived.

Once the viewer has an idea of the mask that each protagonist happens to wear, a process of sublimation of interiority begins, proceeding through the laying bare, physically and metaphorically, of each of the characters. In these scenes, characterized by a calm and relaxed rhythm, the essence of the individual leaks out from the contrast between the naked flesh and the sublime of onirism.
